Viersen Papier has about 60 employees with a wide range of qualifications. We believe that it is a great advantage, to be a small location in a big operation like Smurfit Kappa. In-house-trainings like training-on-the-job, external and internal seminars and extensive familiarisation programs for new colleagues make it possible to work on a high standard.
Our paper machine is operated by trained papermakers, using the latest computer technology. Our installations are maintained by industrial electricians and industrial mechanics. We offer a variety of employment and development opportunities to qualified professionals.
We take our responsibility for school leavers very seroiusly and give them the chance to take part on a practical training or an apprenticeship.
